What is Offscript, really?

A professional memory. It sits quietly beside your work, remembers every person, promise, and decision, mutes the noise, and hands you the signal the moment you need it — a morning Day Brief, a Pre-brief before each conversation, and follow-through after. Orbit is the companion inside it that speaks up when something counts.

What does it work with?

Anything that plays through your computer — a video conversation, a phone conversation on speaker, or an in-person chat picked up by your mic. If you can hear it, Offscript can remember it alongside you. It also folds in the Slack threads and emails you're tagged in.

How is it different from a notes tool?

Notes tools hand you back a pile to read later. Offscript starts there and keeps going — it mutes what doesn't matter, remembers the person across every conversation, prepares you before you walk in, and drafts the reply in your voice. You never open a document; the signal comes to you.

Do I have to press anything?

No. Orbit recognises a conversation, matches it to your calendar, and quietly begins — a five-second tap to wave it off if you'd rather it sat one out. Afterwards, decisions and commitments are captured and routed to Slack, your calendar, or your inbox without you opening a thing.

How does my data stay private?

Offscript captures only the conversations you choose to. Your data is processed by trusted providers under strict data-processing agreements, is never used to train AI models, and is yours to export or permanently delete anytime. Full detail on the Privacy page.

What if my computer crashes?

Nothing is lost. Offscript mirrors everything to disk as it goes, so if your machine quits or crashes, it picks up where it left off and finishes the job on next launch.

Do I need to connect my calendar and Slack?

They're optional — but they're where a lot of the magic comes from. Your calendar tells Orbit who's in the room; Slack and email let it fold the threads that are yours into the same memory. Connect what you use, disconnect anytime.

Which platforms does it run on?

It runs on macOS today — Apple Silicon and Intel. A Windows build is on the way; we'll announce it here first.

Is there a catch?

There's a free tier that stays free — a limited slice of recording time every week, with every feature unlocked and no card required. The cap is on time, not on what Orbit can do. If you need more, Basic is $19.99/month and Pro is $49.99/month at founding rates — down from $29.99 and $74.99, and locked in while you stay. You can top up with credits, which never expire. Cancel anytime.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from Settings → Plan. Cancelling stops the renewal — it doesn't cut you off. You keep everything you've paid for until the end of the period you're in, then you move to the free tier. Nothing further is charged, and we never ask you why. Anything else about billing — billing@offscript.tech. Anything Orbit has already captured stays yours either way.

What are credits?

Credits are prepaid recording time you can buy on top of any plan, including the free one. They never expire, and they're only spent once your plan's allowance for the period runs out — so buying them can't waste what you already have. Pick a ready-made bundle or enter your own amount; the rate is the same either way.

Can I get a refund?

Email billing@offscript.tech and tell us what happened. We read every one and reply ourselves — there is no ticket queue. If something went wrong on our side, or you were charged for something you did not mean to buy, we will refund it.

Never go off·script.

For founding users. macOS now, Windows soon.
